End of an era and new start

Hi guys

I'm back to blogging now I have finished college, it wasn't like I didn't want to blog or didnt have time, it wasnt anything like that, it just kept slipping my mind.

Anyway a few weeks ago, I took part in my own fundraiseer for National Star College, where I swam 25 lenghs of a Hydrotherapy pool (250 meters), 500 metre walk in my Meywalker and 1 mile on a specialist bike.

It was an amazing day and I raised a great amount of funds for the college. I wanted to take on this challenge as I wanted to give regognition back to the college for the amazing support they gave me over the three yeas I was there. I achieved a lot that day and I am so happy that I did it, it was a fantastic end to my time at college.I achieved my physio goal for this year,  a triathlon/ a fundraiser was my goal at the start of the year last September and I smashed it! I am grateful for everyones generosity and support I recieved to help this event to run smoothly.

Another amazing day was my leavers awards ceremony, it was very emotional however it felt an achievement how much I have done at college. I feel proud of what I achieved in my three years at college. It wasn't easy but I have came so far in the space of three years and I hope I can keep achieving now I am back at home. Being back home means new challenges, new goals and new achievements!

It is a start of a new chapter now I am home and I am looking forward to seeing what I can achieve next. I just want to enjoy my time at home and look foward to my next challenge and achieve new goals. I feel that I can turn a fresh page and treat the next stage as a book and keep looking forward to  what will be next. But at the moment I am enjoying the time I have to do all the things I love doing.

Looking back at the three years at Star, it has gone so quick but i have achieved so much, Skiing twice, ive wrote a book,  a mini triathlon, being part of the Student Union for 2 years, met loads of people and just had the best time. I will miss it but i have a exciting new start ahead of me.

Thank you for reading my blog, I hope you enjoyed it.

Abbie
