My recent work experience

Hi welcome back onto my blog once again. I wanted to do a blog about my work experience that I recently completed and how it helped me to evaluate my point of view about being disabled in the working world. I did a 3-day placement at a well-known company which was set up by a disabled charity called Whizz- Kidz and my mum, I was able to achieve a few hours a day over a course of 3 days. During my placement, I was supporting staff on the front desk and welcoming customers into the showroom. This allowed me to be professional but really allow myself to work hard on sounding clear and ensuring myself that I was understood - remembering all of my good tips to get my message across clearly. It felt good to be in a work environment in a busy, professional company. It took staff and customers a while to realise I am reliable and was able to help, as some people just smiled and spoke to the person who was on front of house with me, but this got better as the three days went o
